Nike Project

NIKE INC.

1) Since I am such a Nike fanatic, I applied for a job in their sales department this winter and landed the job! In my job description it stated that all I would have to do is bring the shoe sale numbers from the stock market to the persons in charge of stock worksheets. Unfortunately all the people in charge of stock worksheet duty caught the bird flu and I was chosen to analyze the stock data. I went to the head chairman for help. Unfortunately the head chairman of Nike Inc. is a very busy man and doesn’t have time to sit down and analyze data. He wants records of how his company did from August thru November of 2006. Not only that but he also wants to:

a) Know the averages, worst, and best of all columns

b) When they opened more than 75 but less than 87

c) When the high was less than 81

d) When the Avg. Volume was less than 3,000,000

e) I want the average of my Avg. Volume to exceed over 2,000,000. Find a function that will help me to “seek” out my problem

f) Also format a chart pertaining to the adjusted close and the average volume columns

g) Go to google or yahoo and import a picture of the Nike Swoosh and put it in the chart and heading
